I put 5 Maxxis Load range E on fifth wheel in early 2010 (3509 date code). In April of this year I had a tire fail just as I entered a rest area. Inside side wall failure, but no damage (Lucky). Got new tire from Discount (date code 1713). In Mid September, while checking pressure prior to leaving for fall trip, noticed one of original Maxxis starting to come apart on outside where tread meets sidewall. Rwplaced with new Maxis from April incident. Replaced Spare with new type Carlyle Radial ( no Maxxis available). No issues. Just put three new Maxxis on rig (Date code 2913). Hope we will be good to go. For the record, I have not been covering tires while we store in summer in Michigan. We will cover next spring and place on planks. In winter the open slide shades one side and a tire cover shades the other side. Will keep all appraised. Hope you do not hear from me for 4 or 5 years.
