I've had 9 Chines-made tires fail. The first, on the road in < 1 year and < 1,000 miles. The other 3 made another 18 months before they all 3 separated, though not catastrophically. The replacement I bought for the first failed tire, showed major dry rot after 5 years as a spare mounted =under= the coach. All 4 of my second set showed signs of separation after 4 years so put a new set on in '12. I now have the "new" Carlisles as I couldn't wait for Discount to get the Maxxis I wanted before leaving on a trip. Also, from everything I've read, Armorall doesn't do anything to protect your tires. It actually pulls some of the volatiles out of the rubber to make the surface shiny. Some claim that it actually shortens tire life. Most that use a tire dressing use something along the lines of 303 Protectant.
