And how do you explain the SEVERAL Maxxis failures that have been mentioned on this board recently? probably the same way you want to explain that Carlisle now makes a better tire, you don't wish to look at what other people are experiencing! You can belive the Earth is flat too-because you can only see the horizon!
Wow, I am suppose to explain "several" failures out of the thousands (tens of thousands?), of Maxxis' out there? :h The most logical explanation that comes to mind is that there will always be a certain percentage of folks who do not bother to properly maintain and drive on their tires. They under inflate, fail to balance, thump curbs and don't botherl to regularly inspect, yes these chuckleheads will have failures. Given the number of these folks out there some of them will have purchased Maxxis' probably because they foolishly think buying a good tire eliminates the need to maintain and properly drive on it.
Show me the post where I even mentioned Carlisle tires much less one that says they now make a better tire. :h You need to actually read what I have written before you try an argue with me. I used to have doubts about the "China Bomb" syndrome until I had one blow out on the interstate. I switched to Maxxis' and had nothing but good service, wear and ride. I base my opinions on real world experience which is extensive. :R
