I also have 7k axles and went with the Sailuns, 235/85/R16. It is a G rated tire and considerably cheaper than the Goodyears. Just over 1 yr on the Sailuns. Nice thing is they are rated for 75MPH and I don't sweat when my speed climbs over my normal 63-65.
I had to go with G rated as I have over 12k on 2 axles, actual weight. And still have another 5-600 lbs of capacity.
I just replaced the Michelins on my TV with another set to give more capacity on them. Went from 275/65-R18 MS2 to 275/70-R18 AT2. The Defender will not be out in the size I needed until next month, maybe.
