- musicman54Explorerwatch they will open up again with cheaper wages
- KilroyGuyExplorerMonaco's corporate culture apparently does not think much of anyone, employee or customer. I would be extremely wary of their products.

Says a lot about the 'character' of a company and how it 'feels' about employees
As much as I feel bad for the employees these things happen.
This is the way most companies close. There are reasons that employees are not allowed to enter the building. You never know how anyone will react to bad news. The safety of the employees has to be considered.
Not true, even a sudden closing, the correct method is to arrange to escort employees to get any personal property in the building.
Actually the correct way would be to treat employees with dignity and have meetings prior to closing explaining why/how the closing will occur and what their options would be.......NOT just tossing them aside like trash.
That is what a stand up company does......unfortunately corporations don't care about the employees. - laknoxNomad

Not according to King Barak...
Lyle - campincandiceExplorerAlways sad to see this happen. We loved our 2004 TrailLite, as do the folks we sold it to that continue to use it problem free!
- CANAMKIDExplorerSad to hear as we own a 2007 33" Lakota and am very happy with it. But
like every thing else stuff happens.:h - Me_AgainExplorer IIILooking at the build quality of the Holiday Rambler MHs at the Seattle RV show, there is still problems ahead. And who wants the Navistar frame and engine that was still in the ones at the show. When will the company collapse or be sold again.
Purchase of one of their rigs would be really risky in my book!

You are right I did not mention that. Initially, employees may not be allowed in but they would be escorted in at some time by security. A few plants that closed here did not allow anyone in right away. They were told though that arrangements would be made to collect personal items. Realistically though, to allow a large amount of people in at once with only a couple of security guards might be a concern.
