mor/ryde wet bolt lube?

how often should wet bolts be lubed?
  • I do mine at the beginning of every camping season - which is probably about 4K miles.
In truth I don't think it needs it that often.
  • Yearly at a minimum or before a long trip then afterwards if more lengthy travels are expected. 3-5000 miles is a good rule of thumb for me. Dexter Axle, who probably make all wet bolt kits regardless of name, says 3 mos. or 3,000 miles and as always, their recommendations seem a bit CYA conservative

I lube them prior to our travel season and then about midway. We travel from April thru November. I use a high quality EP grease- not particular to brand. May be overkill but grease is cheaper then parts and labor. Present trailer is 13 years old and suspension is original except for shocks.
