It sounds like the policy holder is at the mercy of the towing/repair companies. In my case, I had exceptional service from Coach-Net. No doubt this was because they contacted a reliable tow company.
I had the misfortune of having the exhaust pipe come off the backside of the turbo and the resulting heat melted my air lines(no brakes). I should say, brakes were applied.
The tow company arrived in two hours and towed the motorhome about 160 miles to a repair facility that could get me in right away to accommodate my vacation schedule.
I'm guessing that it would have cost me well over a thousand dollars out of pocket if I wouldn't have had Coach-Net. It's too bad that everyone's experience wasn't like what I had.
