I had seen a new but prior year model 5'er I had liked at a local dealer and got their bottom line price. Then went online to search dealers inventories from cities within a days drive. Found one that was current year with more options I had wanted. Emailed and made an offer $2000 below what best deal I could get locally. Offer was for out the door so they could not sneak in extra fees at signing. They accepted. I then did the same negotiating with trade in value even though they had not seen my trade in trailer. That was a bit more difficult but we reached an agreeable deal. Sent them a $500 deposit. I then made the trip and picked up my new 5'er at a great price.
