Patience, and showing him you're willing to walk away are your two best negotiating tools. Give him an offer on the one you want that is what you can afford, but not ridiculously low for that model. They WILL say no, and counter offer. Give them another offer just a little higher. They'll say no again. That's when you leave. They'll try to stop you, but LEAVE! Give them your phone number and tell them you're going to look around. Then do just that. Who knows, you may find another that is just what you want. In the mean time, the original dealer will be calling you. Ask them if they'll accept your price. No? Sorry, still looking. They may give in for a sale, and you (hopefully) get a deal. If not, believe me, they are out there if you have the time to keep looking. Good luck.
