I use the Equal-i-zer adjusted the same loaded or not. Putting the MC in the TH only lightens the tongue 100#. Loading 800#+ of water only changes the tongue weight by 100#. Consequently my tongue weight is always between 900# and 1,100#. It doesn't make any difference to the Equal-i-zer or the towing feel.
