Not a Ford guy but, in general, going with a 1T vs a 3/4T doesn't cost much more. You don't =have= to get a dually, so if you don't have plans to go truly BIG, a SRW will fill the bill, and you still have plenty of room to "grow" if this FW doesn't cut it after a few years. After driving gassers my whole life, I wouldn't have anything but a diesel for any kind of towing, and the more towing you feel like you will do, the more sense it makes.
