Okay all...I'm going to try my best to be as detailed as possible.My elderly parents are currently in Idaho with their 2019 Riverstone Legacy 5th wheel built by Forest River and I am in Southern California.They have a Dometic Thermostat and 3 AC units for the trailer, currently, they are having an issue in that not all of the AC units are working and they are not tech-savvy to check these forums to help with troubleshooting. They have tried to connect with the corporate, but the plant is closed due to a positive COVID test. Dealer in Idaho wants them to drop off the trailer so they can troubleshoot, however, not until 8/17 and they are living in it at the moment, not really an option.If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, input, anything to help resolve this issue, it would be greatly appreciated and if you need more info, feel free to ask I can reach out to them and get back to you. I have downloaded manuals and sent them troubleshooting videos from youtube as well. Any insights would be most graciously appreciated.Thanks in advance.

Try powering down the thermostat and then do a reset on it to see if it will reestablish communication with the units. I don't remember the reset sequence, but it is in the manual for the thermostat.Ken

I cannot find on the FR factory website a unit with more than three rooftop units so I'm not sure which one you are talking about.(I also can not imagine needing three A/Cs, but that is a different thread.)I would google "Mobile RV Repair; XYZ, Idaho" and see what turns up. It is probably worth paying a service trip charge to avoid having to take it to, and leave it at, a dealer.

They have three units total, says that two of them are on a cycle system and the other is solo. They had a guy come out the other day to the campground they're staying in and he troubleshot for several hours to no avail. They will be headed to Glacier Park next, perhaps also if anyone has recommendations for that area would be helpful as well. Yesterday they unplugged the thermostat control and did a reset as well. Sorry trying my best to attain relevant information...thank you all.

It might be overly simplistic, but have you verified that they are in a 50 amp site? Dropping to a 30 with a dogbone will cause this, as will having a dead leg on a 50 amp site. Depending on how its wired.

And low voltage can cause issues.

They may have a switch that prevents one of the a/c units from running at the same time as the microwave and/or water heater on 120v. On mine, it looks like a normal residential light switch but it has 3 positions. Mine is unlabeled and it took a while for me to figure out what was happening.

OK I've had one 50A site with low voltage. Hot day, full sites, older CG and everyone running their AC's. So low voltage on 50A could be the parents problem.

Sorta - kinda had same problem couple weeks ago where we couldn't run both A/C's at same time (posted a thread on it). Even tho we were hooked up to 50Amp, 1 leg had low volts (seem to recall 105 area) so the PI 50A EMS shut power down on that 1 leg. The other leg was ok, so able to run the other A/C. So sounds like the park they are in has poor power to pole.

Plenty of power to run all 3 on 50A. Sounds like 30A where even 2 A/Cs can be a problem.

He describes the cycling process as one unit is dedicated and runs on a constant, while the other two units cycle back and forth so that not all three are running at the same time.

What does this mean? Turn all on to run continous unless they are on 30A.
