- laknoxNomadDouble-check AC ducting for both attachment and cleanliness.
Run new, heavier speaker wires; replace speaker with better ones.
I like the "add extra insulation" suggestion, too.

I would pull up the roof boards and do a proper insulation job. Then put 3/4 inch board back down. May be a project I do in a couple of years...
Also, look into Line-X or Rhino Liner for the roof...have read about great results...

3/4" decking is massive over kill! 1/2" would BR plenty and the 3/8" they use is adequate for most people.
I would upgrade insulation, make any wiring upgrades for fans and lights. - laknoxNomad

I lost a battle with a tree, and now need to replace everything on the roof, including antenna, A/C, vent covers, and the roof itself. Any things I should look at doing while replacing the roof and the other items listed above?
Off the top of my head...and having no experience with any, just reading here:
MaxxAir vent covers
Rain sensor for the Fantastic Fan
Solar powered fridge vent fan
Lyle - RAS43Explorer IIIJust went thru this in August. Tree limb hit the satellite dish destroying it along with a couple of vent covers, tank vents, A/C shroud and breaking one roof panel and tearing the rubber roof. When the rubber membrane was pulled off it took pieces of the roofing panels with it so the shop installed 1/8" luan paneling over the roof panels to insure a smooth surface for the rubber membrane. They did an excellent job overall and the insurance company (Safeco) was easy to deal with.
Yes, if you are interested in a satellite dish this would be the time to do it. Trees can be a hindrance but we have found it minimal in our journeys and we do carry along a portable dish which has been used once in 8 years. - aruba5erExplorerThink about a JACK antenna. The full antenna has some lights that aim you toward to towers. Really don't have to wander around looking for the signal. Not available in the replacement head, just the whole new complete unit. Worth every penny. (Jack antenna does not raise up, just turns very low profile) 3/4 " plywood would be overkill. That's all that's needed in a stick and brick home for under vinyl or carpet. 7/16 would be great, after all, 3/8 is probably all that's on there now
- ShadManExplorerMy fiver is pre-wired and framed (and has a thermostat on the wall already) for a bedroom AC, but even in the TX heat, we really haven't needed one. I think I'll put the Fantastic Fan there for those beach trips with no electricity available. Gets kinda warm in there with no airflow when boondocking. :)
BTW, our last rig was a Jayco 28.5RLS like the one in your sig. We really enjoyed it, especially on the beach. - RVhikerExplorerIf you have any possible interest in having a 2nd AC (and don't have one) you could check the roof to make sure that framing is in place to support the 2nd AC and that electrical wiring is convenient.
If you are interested in a skylight, consider getting one made out of Lexan - much more resistant to damage from hail than the cheapo skylights many manufacturers use. - calewjohnsonExplorer

Yes, since it snowed on us in Fort Davis and we were anticipating snow in Carlsbad, I covered everything very well and managed to keep it covered during the drive. :)
I do have a Fantastic Fan already I will have them install in the bedroom. Good suggestion!
Anyone ever add a vent or sunroof during a roof repair? Any better antenna I should look at upgrading to when replacing g the standard Wineguard that comes from the factory? If I were considering DirecTV, I assume this would be the best time to have it done, yes?
I wouldn't do a DirecTV antenna. If in trees, like me most of the time, we would never have TV. I have had to run my dish nearly 100ft out once.

Didn't tear up A/C buy entire roof had to be replaced as well needing some paint. Price was a little over 7000.00 in Amarillo Tx. Progressive paid right off, and dealer split my deductible of 500.00. One thing I learned make sure everything inside is covered or everything will be covered in dirt.
