Owners experiences sought

Have an OpenRange, and am very happy. The 3x309res is a trailer many people on the Open Range owners forum rave about. Check out the forum and ask questions, you will get more help and info than you need. I am not familiar with the 3x line, but understand they are better insulated, dual pane available, lots of special add ons available. I believe they are coming with the new Good Year Endurance.

There's really no comparison between AF and the others. AF is a product that people who have had a several avg. RV's buy and know what to look for.
You will find they have a lot of little extra's throughout (full size queen bed, better water pump, etc) but you will also find build details are excellent. Things like huge frames, gusseted mounting points for the suspension (never seen that in an RV before), better tires, larger wiring and cleaner construction.
Then if you actually dig into it you start finding details like more insulation and in places the others don't bother with, like all around the fridge. The seals around the slides are far tighter than any others.
The Silver fox series loads it up with other great features like double pane windows and HD shackles with wet bolts.
The list goes on but as someone who has owned and gone over lots of other brands, NW makes a great product. It could still be better but it certainly above the crowd.

Artic Fox owner here, just look at the size of the I beams.

I had a Nash trailer (same as the Artic Fox but with aluminium siding in those days), 29V if I remember correctly, and can tell you it was comfortable in the low teens with just three ceramic heaters running and never experienced any frozen water problems. Also, in the very low 100's the one A/C unit kept it comfortable as well. Never had any problems with it and lived in it full time for many years.

Thanks for the link, but am not registered on that forum and they have manual registration process so can't read it

We’ve owned our AF 27-5L for over 2 years and have spent times in it winter camping with temps in the 20s. Haven’t owned any of the other two brands you mentioned. Ours has dual pane windows which I feel helps with along with the insulation to keep it cozy warm. The best part is we don’t look through condensation on the windows and have that damp feeling.
