Payload for 2016 Ram 2500?? What am I missing??

Help?? I am in the process of upgrading my 2011 F250 gas 6.2L We are thinking of getting a 5er and I want to make sure my truck will haul it comfortably. I am basing my 5er weight on 13000-13500...

I've really been kicking around going from a one ton gas to a 3/4 ton diesel. I know the numbers don't jive but look at the campgrounds. They're all 3/4 ton. I'm mostly considering because of ride quality when not loaded. I haven't pulled the trigger yet though.
