Replacing toilet in fifth wheel...what brand?

We want to replace the toilet in our Alpenlite fifth wheel with a High rise China model...any recommendations?
  • If by "China" model, you mean porcelain, Dometic makes them in a high rise, with porcelain bowl. It seems many are happy with them. Mine is a Dometic 310, and is the best of the four RV toilets I have had.

  • Yes, I also recommend the Dometic 310 or 320.... and buy the optional residential seat, too!
  • You could try searching this Forum for `toilet' then to minimize the responses search the results for `china' or `thetford' or any of the other names that come up in your first search.

    Yeah, that'll happen. :)
  • I concur on the Dometic. I'm sure there are other good brands out there but the Dometic will not disappoint. I particularly like the fact that it takes a standard residential seat and I was able to put a 'soft close' one from wallymart on it. I too have had many campers over the years and the Dometic in our new Winnebago beats all...
