I have a Dodge QuadCab with a short box (approx. 6'4"). The backflip uses a bungee cord to hold it down... has metal rings to hook the bungee to. It has 4 sections... you can fold it back 1/2 way or 3/4 of the way and strap down with bungee... or you can fold all way up against the back window to open the the whole truck bed up and hold in place with the locking struts that are a part of the cover. Works great. Would probably be more clear if you checked out their website and read their info... http://bakfliptonneaucover.com/home
