- MartyMooseExplorerThanks for the replies. This gave me some good ideas as I think I will add a 120v source also as the only ones I have are mounted high in the front of the garage. I have the three season room doors in the back which will hide a raceway better also.
- tinner12002ExplorerA company called Wirehider specializes in making products to hide wiring. In your situation I would run a wire from the battery...fusing it of course and running it to garage and then up the wall at the end of the bunks and install a ceiling mount light with on-off switch. If your bunks are like mine there is plenty of room for a wall mounted light either at the head board or footboard of the bed. I did a similar setup for a garage freezer, running the wire from battery and only using a floor mounted 12 volt plug.
- christopherglenExplorerYou may be able to fish a wire from the switch into the roof space, then you have a unswitched power feed.
- DirtclodsExplorer III just used some LED battery lights from home depot for the same thing.

Sheathed it in the split plastic wire loom wrap. - MartyMooseExplorerThanks. I'll check some of these but I suspect that all wires in the area are all switched ( existing dome lights and fan motor/raise/lower ).
- Y-GuyModeratorI taped into some wiring in a couple of our trailers. I remove light fixtures and even the vent caps to fine wiring runs. I use a meter and a pin to determine which lines were always hot and which were switched.
