Just put a set of 16" on my Montana. They pumped them to 110psi. I have 2800lbs/wheel and am wondering what psi to run them at. I know many on the forum run these tires so I am so I am asking advise from those that have had success with these tires.

Thanks, Bob

    2800/wheel ???

    I like this advise from ;

    Tire Load and Inflation Ratings

    Note: Towable – Travel Trailer/ 5th Wheel owners Due to the severe use conditions experienced by tires when axles are very close together – tire industry experts recommend maximum (sidewall) inflation pressure for towable tires unless this causes a sever over-inflation situation (20psi+), often referred to as the ‘basketball effect’. If this is your situation allow a 10 – 15psi safety margin above the minimum required inflation pressure.

    The load range G Sailuns have a PSI spec of 110 on the sidewalls. Unless you know the wheel-by-wheel weights of your trailer and use an inflation table from Sailun to adjust the pressures, you should run them at 110 PSI. Anything lower increases sidewall flex and temperatures - which increase the chances of failure.

    He stated his wheel load....2800#
  • I ran mine at 85 when I had 2500# per wheel load. You said you had 2800# load so 80-90 you should be fine.

    Email Sailun and get a chart.
  • I have the same 5er as you and I run my Sailuns at 90 psi. I tried higher pressures but the camper bounced to much. I have not had any problems with the tires.
