I use cash only or a cashiers check drawn from a local bank in my presence. Both buyer and seller go to a local bank. Buyer gets cashiers check or cash from said bank and transaction is made. Then while still at the bank have the trailers title notarized and given to the buyer. I do this with cars or trailers every time for safety of both buyer and seller.
