Sewer hose support length?

Sorry miss-read the specs. I see they are either 10ft or 15ft. I answered my own question after looking at the specs again.

We'll be spending more time this year while on vacation in a park with sewer hookup. Would like to get a flexible hose support. What length does everyone carry with them, 5ft or 6ft. Have the RhinoFlex, believe it's 10ft, but never remember anytime we've even come close to needing to fully extended it.
  • I have a plastic eves trough that I cut in half. When stored the sewer hose rests on it and everything slides out of the 6 inch pipe that I installed to hold it all.It hangs from the sewer outlet by a rubber tie and can be supported in the middle with a piece of wood, rock or whatever. It's ties together with a rubber tie that goes around the hose and trough at the middle also.
  • Used to keep 20' with me (2-10' lengths) and rarely used the second. Two weekends ago on our first trip of the year 20' wasn't enough, so a trip to the local RV supply to support the local economy. Now I have 30' and fortunately they all fit in the carrier I mounted under the 5er last year.

Yep these work great, hose runs down hill and stuff runs down hill!! Nothing I chuckle at more than those that just lay on the ground and it goes uphill at the far end, then wonder why there is still gunk in it after dumping.
  • I have the 25 ft. Hose support and had to use 3/4 of it one time but the rest of the time just
keep the legs close together for short runs and it just gives the hose more support. It is the heavy plastic one and I have had it for 10 years and it still is in great shape. It is 37.00 dollars at camping world but it has been worth it.
  • The ground supports our hose and 10 ft is often not long enough. If you know where you will be then you know how long the hose has to be.
