Shock absorbers on 5th wheel
The way you check shock absorbers on a car does not work on a 5th wheel so how does one check the shock absorbers ??

The shocks on a Heartland product are mounted at almost a horizontal angle. Questionable if they do any good at all. All of mine were bent when I had a Heartland. I don't think they did anything.
