We were going to have our dealer install shocks on our unit right after we bought it. The shop manager called and said they could do it, but it wouldn't be easy. Keystone ran the propane pipe work right where the shocks would need to go. Moving all of that pipe work made it cost prohibitive as an aftermarket
project.
Only if you hire the work out. I needed to move both the gas line on the passenger side and the galley drain line on drivers side that whole process took less than two hours. The work was done in our storage yard which Is unpaved, working above and below the 5er.
I found a world of differance in the way the 5er towed and rode well worth the $240 for the kits.
This is a picture of the new 6" nipple I installed to replace the existing 2" nipple giving the necessary room for the shocks. Gas rated sealing tape and soap test afterwards. All connections at back were on 1/4"
Soft copper so easly repositioned.
