"Slides In" Use
Our Vengeance has the east/west bedroom slideout. Of course, the slideout is basically the bed.
When stored under my barn, there is maybe a foot of room between the camper and the wall of the barn. So that rules out putting the slides out. It has a big slide for the living room and then the bedroom slide and they go in and out on the same switch.
We had used our Work & Play when the power went out during the last ice storm in January. But the W&P only had a small living room slide and that slide could be put out without any issues underneath the shelter.
But during our next power outage event and we decide to use the Vengeance with its own generator, am I going to be able to use the bed with the slide in? There's no way to use the living room because everything is smashed together with the slides in. But if I'm not home, the camper can't be pulled out. If the wife decides to go stay in it until I get home, can she sit or lie on the bed without fear of damaging anything with the slide mechanism?
