Small car for carrying in a WW FK1900?
I am considering hauling a small car in my 2006 Weekend Warrior FK1900 which has a GVWR of 7,600 pounds. I weighed it empty years ago and don't remember exactly but I think it had 4,000 pounds on the axles.
I think I will be okay if the car weighs 2,000 pounds or less. So far the top candidate seems to be a Smart for two. The base curb weight (including fuel, etc.) is 1,800 pounds and it will fit in the trailer.
My requirements are the car must seat two or more, be fully enclosed, have heating, cooling, and a gas engine. Electric vehicles would have too restricted of a range for our use.
Any suggestions for a car which meets these requirements?
