Sold the fiver! Uh oh!

Thanks for the congrats and also thanks for the advise on the anti-freeze. Just closed and packed up the old rig today. Delivery guy arrives Saturday to haul it to the new owners. It is a bittersweet time but we are glad it is going to owners that plan on using it.

Just pour down the drains, don't drain or empty traps as it will let stink back up into trailer.

Good news the rig is officially sold! Received and deposited the Cashiers check today; will be sending off the title USPS tomorrow.

Ended up with a price that was a bit lower than we wanted but still fair. The new owners are very excited with their impending retirement and travel plans.

Sold it again. This time it seems to be a more serious and honest deal. Couple bought site unseen off of an ebay listing that ran a few weeks ago. Hopefully this one closes appropriately. They have a family member who is in our area stopping by this next week to confirm that all is legit.

I feel you will have much better luck selling your unit "after' you have moved out. I sold my MH a few mo. ago. I removed everything that was not required for operation. Cleaned the unit to perfection. I stored any accessories that was included in the sale in a storage bldg. next to the MH parking spot. It makes the unit look bigger and interested buyers can inspect it thoroughly. Myself, I would not even look at a unit that is occupied by fulltimers because I cannot inspect it like I would want.

Well we found and agreed to purchase another rig private party. Thankfully they need it until March 1 so we have time to sell ours. If only the majority of the US would come out of the freezer I think we could get more interest. Listed it on ebay and cl, lots of pics, good description and reasonable price.
