Thanks! The repairman who will be assessing all the damage as well as repairing has never seen my 5er or me for that matter. He was a recommendation of other RVers in my area. I just called him today to ask if he could possibly install it for me when he does other repairs. He seems to be an honest guy. I think he probably just doesn't know what it is that I have. I could take the 5er to the dealership where I purchased but that is more than 100 miles away and they said it would be 6 weeks before they could even look at it. This guy is at a dealership 30 miles from my home and many people I know have used his services. He claims he can assess and repair on the 16th.
I was just confused by what he said and wanted some reassurance. I think once he sees what I have, he will have a different opinion.
