- DuckExplorerWe live in the Ft Lauderdale area and have had our fifth wheels stored all the time outside. I leave the fridge doors open. I also have covers on all of my vents and leave them open, Never had a problem with mold and moisture.
Don - fla-gypsyExplorerI am in northeast Florida and don't do anything special other than leave the fridge doors open. If you are leaving it the entire summer your water may evaporate from the toilet bowl.
- laknoxNomadI always summarize "fifth wheel" as "FW". :-) Actually, I'd do what I could to store in covered storage as the sun is fierce, even if the humidity may seem the worst of your issues. I'd certainly put a goodly quantity of RV antifreeze in the toilet and all the drains. I'd be sure to leave 5-10 gallons in the black tank to help keep any remaining solids half-way soft. Cover your tires, even if under cover. Park on boards to get the tires off the ground, too.
Lyle - phillygExplorer IIMine is parked in open storage there except when we're using it and we've never had a problem. Leave a vent open an inch and leave the fridge doors open.
