In the pic you can see where its gouged a bit.
Just had a thought. I had just had the trailer in for service. Not sure what they use to move trailers around. Often shops use a tractor with some sort of a fitting to hook onto 5'er pins. Possibly whatever they used caused interference with the V on the capture plate.
The *gouge* is readily apparent.
The 5th wheel trailer moving "tractor" is usually a large fork lift.
However - possibly they move trailers with some kind of "mule" equipped with a 5th wheel hitch - like a pickup.
Any good service facility *should* have a Super Glide #3336 Conversion Adapter (and probably sell them also).
Quote, Super Glide:
"This adapter will allow your trailer to be pulled by a non-SuperGlide hitch used
in conjunction with the head of your SuperGlide." End quote - (bold print is theirs).
Possibly the service facility did not have:
1. The adapter.
and/or
2. Either your (or their) PR SG "head".
See PR directions -
#3336 Conversion Adapter You might want to have a chat with the service facility and inquire how they moved your trailer..:W
