- Golden_HVACExplorerThat does look like a grade 8 bolt, and probably is designed to carry some 2,000 pounds on it, not to mention the loads from a pot hole that might exceed it's normal weight by a factor of 2.
I might consider getting a bolt long enough that I could torque the normal grade 8 nut to it, and still be able to secure a second locking nut, or perhaps a nylon lined lock nut to the bolt, preventing any nuts from freeing themselves from your RV again!
Good luck,

Hell with the =dealer=; I'd call Outdoors RV and talk to =them= and see if they will approve a mobile RV repair to check, and fix, this. Were it me, and they agree to $X to fix this, I'd go ahead and have them put wet bolts in. Ludicrous...

X2 more like X5 as others have suggested Mobile repair, but get the manufacture involved ASAP! - laknoxNomadHell with the =dealer=; I'd call Outdoors RV and talk to =them= and see if they will approve a mobile RV repair to check, and fix, this. Lyle - amandasgrammaExplorerI have to say.....things like this make me wonder how many accidents have happened that have had the driver to blame and turns out bolts have actually fallen out or parts have gone bad from lousy workmanship. This shouldn't have happened to a new rig.....unbelievable. Good luck!

Am I missing it or is there no hole for the bolt to go through on the other side of the hanger?
That's probably why they didn't finish the job.
I see the same thing, there is no hole in that bracket, and the legs seem to be bent and the right side of the shackle is cracked at the bend, looks ready to break. Needs more than an DIY job. I would not tow that rig like that, get it fixed before towing is my opinion. - B_O__PlentyExplorer IIBe sure to replace it with the correct bolt. It should have a knurled portion right under the head of the bolt so it will lock into place when tight and it cannot rotate.

Yes, there is hole. it really is just bad camera angle - Wood_chipExplorer

It looks like the hanger legs are bent and the weld is breaking loose. You may need more then a bolt.
:h
I was kind of wondering the same thing.
Although I give the OP the benefit of it is just the camera angle used in taking the photo here.
Here's to hoping for a simple fix and solution to your problem.
It is just the the camera angle. The hangers are straight - newman_fulltimeExplorer IIBolt does not look bent but the hanger is twisted

That's probably why they didn't finish the job.
