I'm not sure how helpful this is but.... GOOD WORK! Love bringing the old back to new. :) Had a very similar experience with our first TT. We bought it knowing it had spongey floor and some issues. Fixed them all up for less than $500.00, including replacing the floor and sold it 3 years later for more than what we paid.
Hope you are getting some enjoyment out of the preparation.
Thanks!
Yes, it's helpful. It reminds me we're not the only ones having to do this. :)
That is awesome and what I am hoping for after this year if we decide to replace. That isn't a bad deal and makes it worth the repairs for me.
So far we have into it-
Camper ($2500)
5 new tires ($80 to mount, my dad got them for us)
Plumbing ($23)
Plumbing to come ($?)
Wire repair to come ($? likely free)
$100 in repairs so far isn't bad at all then.
Yes, I am getting enjoyment after the frustration but liking the overall experience since it's all new to me. I'm up for the challenges.

Thanks and Next week! We are taking it on our maiden voyage with some friends May 20. I'm looking forward to the hard work paying off then.

Just wondering out loud if there are any mice carcasses in the fresh water tank? That's a pretty big hole, and it wouldn't surprise me if they went in there.... They would get in, but would not be able to get out.
SHHH!!!! lol. Yes that was my first concern as well, "What is down there?". I was thinking of renting a camera to feed down and look OR if we just go with DO NOT USE. If there is anything, were talking a tank drop I'm assuming.

Nice work! It is not easy but worth it.
Thanks!
You got that right, lol. Especially with the water leak. That was super rewarding to hear it flowing properly and not up into the duct work and flooring. The downer was finding out we were missing drain plugs and couldn't fully test last night. :)
Next plans (no specific dates yet)-
--Hoping to get the water fully tested tonight. I'm going to pick up some pex 1/2" ball valves for each of the drains.
--reseal furnace with new putty
--vacuum floor duct of left over water/debris
--This weekend, finish cleaning outside, re-clean inside
--Replace battery vent tubes
--Replace seals around doors (foam strips)
--Replace missing center caps
--More to come I'm sure...
Thanks again for all the input so far. Is there anything else I should be checking before we take it out?
