This is what I use: TireMinder Smart TPMS
TireMinder Smart TPMSIt communicates via Bluetooth, but does not take over your Bluetooth hands-free connection between the phone and truck. Each tire gets a pressure/temperature sensor that screws on to the valve stem. The system uses a Bluetooth repeater, which in-turn relays the data from the sensors to a receiver housed in the truck. That device in the truck then communicates with your smartphone.
The software has a number of features; the biggest one for me was that it allows it to scan all tires that are connected (you can buy additional tire sensors and I believe you can monitor up to 22) and will beep if there are any problems.
We used it when we evacuated from Irma, and drove 1,900 miles using it with no problems.
You MUST wire in the repeater. I simply wired mine directly to my 12v battery on the TT. The power draw from it is so low as to not even be noticed.
It's pricey: $336 on Amazon, but it lets me know at a glance how my tire pressures/temperatures were doing. The kit on Amazon comes with everything you need and either 4 or 6 sensors.
I wouldn't want to travel without one.
