That's what we do. I also train police and SAR K9's so I can fit several dogs and crates in the trailer when I'm traveling long distances for training. It's great. Keeps the rest of the Camper clean and I can close the door between the garage and living space to keep the noise down. On top of that, it has two queen bunks that go up and down electrically. I love it. I miss the storage space of my old RV but we just bought a bunch of heavy duty rolling cases, labeled them for what items were inside and can now switch them in and out depending on where we are going and what season it is.
For instance, there is no need to carry Halloween gear in our 5ver unless it's that time of year. I love it... and if I ever do get a golf cart or something, I can put that sucker right in there.
