Truck bed plug or just use plug in bumper for 5th wheel

Just curious to see how many of you add a plug in the bed of your truck to plug in the 5th wheel or do you use the one in the bumper? On my old truck they put a plug in the bed of the truck to plug in...

I've done both but got tired of the cable rubbing the paint on the tailgate so I added one in the bed. There's a harness kit that T's into the existing truck harness. It's an easy install. My 2018 came with one in the bed already installed.
