Two Sewer Outlets?

Saw a guy in the rv park but did not get a chance to talk to him to ask.

His Bay Hill by Ever Green looks to be about a 34 foot unit.

He has TWO sewer dump connections so you have two sewer hoses coming down to a Y connector to head to the dump.

Maybe he has a rear kitchen or something and the bath is way up front I don't know.

But that sure seems like a hassle to have two tank areas each with a hose and the Y connector and all.

Never seen anything like this in our 16 years PT rv'ing.

Can anyone enlighten me to solve my curiousity?

  • I see it as an issue with slope. In order to slope the pipes to a common tank, the tank would be too low.
  • Our fiver has two sewer dumps and 4 tanks total. Front dump is for the kitchen and the front full bath while the rear dump is for the rear half bath and outside kitchen. We used to use a "Y" but found it to be a hassle when it came time to drain the hose and disconnect. Now I keep the hose connected to the front for the duration of our stay as normal and dump before we leave then I move the hose to rear dump, flush and clean and were gone. Not a huge hassle.
  • Sure - makes sense; never thought about that. And if you plumbed over the axle you would not get full drainage from the kitchen.

And for a rear kitchen I would imagine that would then be common - just had not see it.

    Thanks.
