Chuck I believe you sent me a PM asking about what you are wanting to do. I feel your truck would pull a 32 ft Augusta alpenlite as I know of many that have done so. Even one with a 94 2500 with a 35 ft triple slide Alpenlite. He did have issues stopping. My 98 had very poor brakes and one reason for trading for the 2001 chev 3500 dually 8.1 engine. I also was a construction worker for a career and loved what I did . I also know stress is bad for money reasons and a truck that can make you feel scared at times. The reason for us going dually.
If you can find a great used truck or fifthwheel it should give you a great rv experience. Some issues of course with anything. Artic is a great choice but you know they are heavy for a reason. Is a fifthwheel your only choice over a TT.
