Okay. When shopping for older trailers to mate up with newer trucks, pay attention to the height differences between the bed and trailer overhang. Trucks and trailers both just keep getting taller. You can work around the issues, but best to know about the potential problem in advance.
I agree, Know the height of your bed at the tailgate, and carry a tape measure so you can measure to the bottom of the 5er's overhang.
If you can should also have a measurement with about 1,800# to 2,200# sitting over the rear axle.
