My Arctic Fox truck camper uses the same fitting as Weekend Warrior, but is flush mounted to a panel with hot and cold water taps (this doubles as the outdoor shower). Turning off the taps allows you to drain the short section of piping that is closest the external wall. When I had my WW, I also wrapped all the lines in foam sleeves (whether inside or outside the living space). This really helped keep water flowing when winter camping (the AF is much better winterized with insulated panels and plumbing and dual pane windows). I wrapped the WW PVC line to the quick connection in foam until it filled that hose storage gap. The hose was stored in another compartment and the foam offered the PVC line support and insulation at the same time.
