Weight rating on a 235/80/16 tire
What is the load rating on these tires in the e range. A 2017 keystone carbon 357 tandem axle with a gross weight of 17000lbs comes stick with these tires. It seems they would not be the right tires m...

Tandem axles......4 at 3420 ------13,680# load capacity
Dry pin is 3,060# with dry weight of 12,712# ----24% pin weight
17000# GVWR at 24% is 4080# wet pin weight
17,000 - 4080 leaves 12,920#
Only 760# capacity margin ---190# per tire
Upgrade to a 235/80r 16 'G' rated tire like Sailun S637.......4080# capacity at 110 psi
Will require upgraded rims to handle psi/load but better then marginal tires :S
