- BadhabtExplorerAnother busy day...put on Dicor rubber roof treatment and started cleaning my wheel caps. I learned something new to clean off rust off the chrome caps...aluminum foil and water! I was skeptical but it works so easy. Where has this trick been all my life?! LOL

- rcpd34ExplorerFound a soft spot in the roof. Not happy.

I added a slider base to my hitch and subsequently had to raise the pin box. Pain in the neck!
I have a Trail Air pin box and I need to do this as well. How did you support the pin box when you were raising it? I was thinking I could just hook up the trailer and then go from there...
I was going to do just that but, since I was at a campground and there was a sturdy picnic table right there, I pulled the table under the pin box and supported the weight with a hydraulic jack on top of the table. Worked like a charm.
Since this would have been the 3rd time (that I know of) that these bolts would be torqued down, I took the opportunity to replace all of the hardware with new stuff.
Aha! Got it... - stro1965Explorer

Eternabond? or Dicor DiSeal?
I bought a roll of Dicor for the same idea to cover the seam from the cap to the roof. Just curious what you used and your thoughts of the product...and any helpful "hints' THANKS
Eternabond.
I did both front and back ends the same way.
Awesome product, really conforms around everything.
My buddy put it on his hauler a few years ago.
His sits in the AZ sun year round with no cover, still holding up great.
Cleanliness is key to get good adhesion.
I cleaned with soap and water, let it dry overnight and then cleaned with Acetone right before application.
Apply lots of pressure after you put the tape down. - BadhabtExplorerIn the last week
Washed the roof, washed the trailer, resealed around shower skylight, replaced 3 vent covers, waxed the trailer...my arms are sore to say the least. - BadhabtExplorer
