Well it wasn't today, but over the weekend we took our WW out of the triple digit Imperial Valley and went to San Dimas. Even though the weather was warm, we had a wonderful weekend. Our spot at the RV park provided a beautiful view of Puddingstone Reservoir.
How's camping there? It's only a few miles from my office and thought about going there for a quick get away with the DW. Did you go to the water park or just hang out? Not too interested in Lake Puddlestone. - 4DESERTRATSExplorerWell it wasn't today, but over the weekend we took our WW out of the triple digit Imperial Valley and went to San Dimas. Installed the hose kit to reduce the water knock. What a difference. I was only able to do the one on the pressure side due to my plumbing but it reduced the noise by 90%.
I did that a few years ago when I installed a ShurFlo Revolution waterpump - Also slid some foam insulation around the PEX plumbing that was laying directly on the floor. This combination practically silenced it to the point, I thought it was not working.
I found 2 places where the rigid pipes were touching also and placed foam between them. I'm really happy with the results. Next is an upgraded pump. The current one is 8 yrs old so it may be time for some preventative work. All I do is dry camp so losing a pump is not acceptable.
Keep the pump for a spare, my old pump is riding around in a new home, someone else's to be more exact. Their's took a dump and they were really bummed, until I pulled out a pump that fit right in with minor tweaks.

I suggest the Shurflo Revolution. The "4008" is a direct replacement for the OEM Shurflo 2088 and is much quieter with less cycling than the original. Rated at 3 gpm (55 PSI) vs 2.8 gpm (45 PSI) for the old one, so doesn't really increase your water usage that much, but after I switched it seemed like my pressure had doubled - I could REALLY tell the difference.
They also make a model "4048" which is rated for 4 gpm (55 PSI) for larger water systems. - 64thunderboltExplorer II

Washed it top to bottom and went beach camping for a week at Thornhill Broom Pt. MUGU state Beach. Great weather, beautiful spot, very relaxing. I.m ready to go back!:)
Is that the one RIGHT on the sand? If so I think I stayed there 30 years ago but didn't have an R.V. How was it? I assume it's pretty tight and does it get windy? Do you need reservations or is it first come/first serve? My son lives in Camarillo and we're in Burbank so it would be a real easy weekend get away.
Yes right on the sand. You must reserve through Reserve America. You can go to their web site and check availability for your dates. It is listed under Point MUGU. I would think that with school starting chances are good. There is water available about every third site and there are portable toilets, other than that you must be self contained. - KatMoe50ExplorerInstalled 3 nice new flat screens, two- 24 "s inside and a 46" outside on the wall with a nice slide on slide off bracket. Installed new pillow top mattress, hard would floors and surround sound system.
