We just went through the same kinda dilemma but only with 2 adults and 2 pets. To me, 6 sounds cozy and for the miles you appear to put on, I would continue your venture of the Class A.
HOWEVER, I will also tell you that we chose a 5th over the A because we felt we got more creature comforts inside.
