Where is "level" determined on a fifth wheel?

Or in my case, a gooseneck horse trailer? What is the place a manufacturer base the placement of the levels off of if I were to double check?
  • Use the bottom shelf of the fridge to calibrate levels (per Dometics manual).
You don't want to start off with levels calibrated to something else (that may not be level, like a stove) because if you add the fridges level to your "stove" (or what ever else you use) you may end up being off too much overall.
Remember, the damage is cumulative so it may work fine but the damage is adding up if its too far off. Then when it's in a very hot place, it wont work.

The refer can be off at few degrees & still work without any problems.

Yep so the eggs stay in on spot to
  • Refridgerator needs level to operate and wife needs stove level to cook. Luckily they are usually right next to each other and ours is in the middle of the 5er.

On a refer shelf. That is the most important thing

X2 for width - I place my 3 foot level on the right side door sill for lenght wise.
