- wilber1ExplorerI use the bottom frames of the basement storage openings. Wife likes it about an eighth of a bubble nose up so the bathroom door doesn't swing open and she says she sleeps better. :h These things are pretty flexible and the chances of getting the whole thing level are somewhere between slim and none. Seems to work fine, the original Dometic fridge was still going strong when we traded our 13 year old 5er in last spring.
We do most of our cooking outdoors so don't care if the range is level. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Okay, now some of your are getting anal! ;)
I'll check the frig and then the stove top, then the floor then... & then.....
I just wanted to have a place to check aside from the levels the manufacturer put on because I'm always jacking up the curb side, always.
Why curb side high? So the POOP will drain? - 2112Explorer IIMy level rides shotgun. It's level when she says it is. She sometimes will roll a bean can on the floor to show me what I need to correct.
Level, I don't need no stinking level. - restlesswindExplorer

On our fiver,I check for plumb (not level) on the ouside of the wall between the axels. If it is plumb there,it is level side to side.
You may find that the side may need to be a little off plumb one way or the other in order for your unit to actually be level side to side.
I use a 2' level.DW moves the truck forward or back,I place the lego blocks where needed,DW moves the unit onto the blocks...done. - RollandBExplorerX2 on the bathroom door. I check a few spots then the bathroom door.
- bobx2ExplorerUse my 4' level on the rear bumper to level up side to side. Then I unhook, put the level on the floor inside, and level up front to rear. Quick, easy and accurate.
- korbeExplorerI checked the frig first. Nice and level (don't want to ruin the frig). Second, I realized the stove was nice and level too (don't want to have my eggs off center), then I found a real easy place on my counter to put my torpedo level. So now I know that when my counter is level, everything else is too.

I did as some have done used my 6' 8" level to get front to back and then installed the bubble on the pin box. did the same for left to right and installed the bubble level at the entry above the base trim so a look before the steps come down is easy to see how level we are. I also have looked into the toilet bowl. I have used a water level for years installing cabinets.

I am curious as to where you get a 6' 8" level?Mote wrote:

What is a dount?
Edit, never mind, I bet you mean donuts. - MoteExplorerIf my dounts don't slide off the table....I"m level
- 0rionExplorerlike someone else posted....I just used the floor and set my levels using that method. I actually like to have mine off a little bit. I like to have the passenger side down just a little and the rear down just a little. The reason is for water run off. It runs the water off the back of the camper and away from the slide seals if it rains hard. I'm not talking way off....just enough to control water run off.
