Can't believe so many of you are apparently operating without levels permanently mounted for fore & aft plus side to side where you can't see them from your front leg switches.
You are running back & forth, inside then outside with a carpenters level. Really???
X2 - larry_barnhartExplorerNot me just to set up the small levels that are attached to the fifthwheel for front to back and left to right.
chevman - bfast54ExplorerI put a level in the refrigerator then on the outside ..and the levels are set.
I've been to many many r_v factories .......if you think they take time to level the fridge with the rest of the trailer you are nutz......:S.....
They SHOVE the fridges in "place" screw down,on to next thing..
Takes a experienced RV worker ,about 10 seconds,to put Fridge in,and mount...:E - VeebyesExplorer IICan't believe so many of you are apparently operating without levels permanently mounted for fore & aft plus side to side where you can't see them from your front leg switches.

I have 2- 6'8" levels and a different brand but yep I used them to install doors but when the doors cost in the thousands I used a plumb Bob. The more a door cost the easier it is to do a fine job. Pride is everything.

I did as some have done used my 6' 8" level to get front to back and then installed the bubble on the pin box. did the same for left to right and installed the bubble level at the entry above the base trim so a look before the steps come down is easy to see how level we are. I also have looked into the toilet bowl. I have used a water level for years installing cabinets.

Stabila for one makes a 6'8" level. They are typically used for hanging doors.
Larry?
I have seen adjustable length levels, but never a six foot eight one, it would be nice.
Here is one on Amazon

Some folks make far too big an issue out of perfectly level. I leveled mine once, on the floor over the axles. Screwed levels to the outside, and never give it another thought. If your stove or your fridge were so far out of level with the floor as to matter, you have some serious build issues.
