WHAT 'G' Rated tires is this post about? :R
The post is about checking the type of tires on the fiver when you buy it, and replacing any "Chinese " junk tires regardless of how well they look! Anyway, that was what I had in mind when originally posting! I mentioned that I had to replace all four tires with "G" rated tires, which for my rig may be a little overkill.
X 2, on "me agains" post about inflating the G rated tire to handle 7,500 LBS. when you are only carrying 6,000 LBS. Anyway, I could not help myself and had to comment on some of the posts.
You stated 4 new BF Goodrich 14 ply 'G' rated tires as replacement
I asked which tires cause I didn't know BF Goodrich made a 'G'.
So which BF Goodrichs did you buy?
OLD-Biscuit please do not get me wrong, But don't you read the posts? I have responded twice to this question already! I guess you need to see thing written out in detail to understand! I have responded with "The other Goodrich.." If you can not fill in the blanks I will try and explain it too you, I posted just after returning from a 10 hour trip, where I had a blow out doing damage to my RV on the interstate. Because of traffic I had to call and get someone to come out, remove the blown tire and put on a spare, then, I found out two other tires were about to blow forcing me to purchase 4 new tires. I happened to purchase "G" rated tires, which I did not intend this post to be about. I was upset, and tired and probably should have posted this later when my head was clear, but since my intent was a warning to others to get substantial tires for their rig from the start, and bite the bullet on tires that outwardly look ok, I did not think the type tires I had to buy after the incident was consequential I mistakenly wrote Goodrich, instead of Goodyear! I really hope this clears everything up for you, if not please ask your question again!!!
