Around Wikiup reserv. is free camping. If you go out Burgess Road (from 97 just north of LaPine --south of the RR track), to the end where you turn left or right, turn left. Then eventually you see a sign for South Twin lake and North Twin lake to the left. Take that left and go PAST the Sheep Bridge Campground. To the right is a dirt road....go down that. There is free camping there (at least last year unless BLM changed their minds). Also, further around the lake on the other side you'll find free camping. :) :) Have fun...one of my favorite places to camp! (we lived in Lapine for 10 yrs)
