Wow what great resonses guys! Oddly, I am currently renting a Flea-Bag Doublewide in La Pine. I came to Bend to visit my remaining family and now they won't let me leave but I have a plan. I sold the TC in the picture as it was a 94 and had some serious issues and now looking to replace it with something a bit newer. Lots of them here and going to look at some today!
There is an inner strength you get when you are full timing!
Somebody once wrote on this site that I time comes when you feel so free and so empowered full timing. Well the next one will be my 3rd. RV ownership and the short time I was full time when I came to Bend got me close to that feeling.
As for Bend, I remain totally surprised there are so many great spots and for the seemingly lax attitude on the part of authority here verses the failed state of California!
I guess that's why so many Snowbirds come here in the summer months. If my plan goes well, I'll be here playing on the river for summer and Havasu/Blythe/Parker Strip playing on the river for the great desert RV winter seasons...
