while researching coverage for my wife I found all domicile states are different but I thought emergency coverage ... Heart attack broken bones etc would be covered but at the out of system rates. I wasn't aware of any limit such as one time a year etc. Ongoing dr office visits are a different matter they aren't emergencys
It looks like those with ongoing medical needs that require constant office visits may be put out of the traveling lifestyle if the trend continues !! perhaps a different Dr who is willing to work with you ( not require constant visits ) ?Like Have a bood test drawn and sent to your dr for review ?
The aca has helped those with lower incomes that can get a govt subsidy "taxpayer payment " to pay part or most of the premium as the cost appears lower and is to the recipient but I'm sure the ins company collects the full non subsidy amount. And cost continue to go up
