I think woodglue has the right idea... I had the acrylic overlays for a long while because my nails are thin are tear easy, but I found it was scary going to a different place to have my nails done... some were much more aggressive with their buffing and working on my cuticles.. besides the sally hansen stuff. Avon has a hardner that doesn't make your nails shiny and won't peel like the polish type. It is a liquid that goes on and soaks into your nails.. it's called strong results. I really like it and it doesn't get chipped when you use your hands to do things.
